Econazole is an antifungal used to treat conditions like athlete’s foot, jock itch, ringworm, tinea versicolor, and yeast infections on the skin. Do not give this medication to a child without medical advice.

Wash hands before and after application. Clean and dry the affected area before applying a thin layer. Avoid applying to large areas of skin. Do not cover the target skin area.

Avoid contact with the eyes. Talk with your doctor if you become pregnant or breast-feed. Inform your doctor of your medical history, the drugs you use, and your allergies before starting this drug, especially if you use a blood thinner.
